Acceptance
By using BookStash you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What BookStash is
BookStash is an app for personal book tracking: reading lists, adding books by link, reading statistics, cover collages and sharing your library with friends.
Book data
Book metadata (titles, authors, descriptions, covers) belongs to its rights holders. BookStash retrieves it from public sources solely for your personal use and does not guarantee its accuracy.
Your account
You sign in to BookStash with your email address; the first sign-in creates your FAMHQ account. You are responsible for the security of the email address you sign in with. You may delete your BookStash account at any time from the Profile screen; deletion is permanent.
Limits
BookStash is free. An account has limits on how much it can keep and on the features that cost us money; the app says so when one is reached. Monthly allowances renew on the first day of each calendar month (Kyiv time).
These terms apply in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to store and transmit it solely to provide the service to you. Do not use BookStash to store or share illegal, harmful or infringing content.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to access any part of the service or other people's data without permission.
- Do not overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the service.
Service availability
We aim to keep BookStash available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
BookStash is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
